Creating Life - Rachel Cluelessly Arrives!

Last week you became familiar with Marissa. This week, you will meet a girl not quite as bright or sharp, but means just as well. Rachel comes with a bit of a bonus! TWO youtube videos showcasing her being colored and shaded; created by yours truly. First off, let's introduce Rachel, shall we?

Description: Despite her outward appearance, Rachel is a very shy and naive girl. Often very quiet and found sitting alone, she enjoys watching and listening to others silently. She's had many opportunities to date, but she has never had the courage to go through with them. She is quite self-conscious and cares more about what she thinks of herself than what others think of her. She always looks in the mirror to try and meet her own expectations with her looks. She's not the smartest girl, in fact, she can be downright dense and easily confused. Her only real talents are soccer and painting.

Now for the bonuses! First up are the two youtube videos, where I colored and shaded Rachel in Photoshop CS3. The videos were recorded using CamStudio, processed in Adobe Premiere, then finished up with text and effects in Adobe After Effects! Hope you enjoy! Creating Life - Introducing Marissa!

From time to time, you may find me drawing people and placing them here. This act will be known as "Creating Life". These characters are characters I created mostly for no reason at all. However, some could possibly be used in some form or another, but all that is undecided at this point. I essentially am creating characters for no real reason, just for fun. Some characters, like this one, started as Miis I created on the Wii console. Without further explanation, I will bring out the first in the Creating Life series, Marissa Sands!

Description: Marissa is a friendly girl who enjoys life. Although naive with the harsher parts of reality, she is intelligent and energetic. She enjoys reading, but usually cannot focus on it for a long period of time, because she is often energetic and winds up putting the book down to do something more active. She is rarely ever seen angry, and many believe it's nearly impossible to totally irritate her. If insulted or bragged to, she'll just shrug her shoulders and smile. She has no father, but her mother Evelyn works hard to support her and raise her under the proper principles. She can be quite shy and blushes often, and is easily made tearful if she watches or reads something sad or tragic.
